In the latest installment of our “5 Questions With …” blog series, which spotlights the great talent at TVSquared, we speak with Brenden Kane, one of our NYC-based Account Managers.

  1. What is your favorite part of working at TVSquared?

It’s difficult to name only one, but if I had to pick, I’d say the energy. Being in a sales office, it’s vital to keep the energy and positivity high. I’ve been at TVSquared since June 2017, and it continues to be a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The energy in the NYC office is incomparable to any of the previous organizations I’ve worked with. I’m part of a team of people that are the best at what they do, and I’m lucky to have the opportunity to work here.

2. Is there an aspect of your role you’re particularly excited about right now?

The opportunity for continual growth. TVSquared is an advocate for recognizing talent and making sure employees have what they need to succeed. Every morning when I step into the office, a new challenge awaits. TVSquared has gone from start-up to scale-up and there is never a dull moment. The future holds unlimited possibilities for us as we continue to push the boundaries.

3. What is your biggest achievement in your role here?

I’m very proud of my recent promotion – going from part of the Inside Sales team to managing my own accounts. This career growth would not have been possible without my colleagues. They provided me with the resources for success and are incredible mentors.

4. What’s your favorite TV ad campaign?

There are a few that come to mind: the Old Spice ads with Terry Crews, Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man in the World” campaign and the Nepresso spot with George Clooney and Danny DeVito. All of these ads fall into the CPG vertical. The importance of delivering a creative that is memorable is crucial for products in this highly competitive space.

5. After a busy day, how do you like to relax?

Cooking dinner, going to the gym and listening to music. It’s the most routine part of my day, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. It allows me to reflect and clear my mind. I enjoy cooking different recipes/styles of food, but grilled chicken is always a staple for me during the week. Having gone to school for music, I don’t have a genre preference, but I primarily listen to electronic music while in the gym.
