A Look Back at 2015

Like anyone else working at a startup, I have no idea how we ended up in December 2015. It seems like we were just doing 2015 strategic planning, prepping for industry events, announcements, product upgrades, new hires, etc. All of our goals were hit (even exceeded), but in the flurry of activity it seemed to all fly by. Needless to say, TVSquared has had a phenomenal year!

As a three-year old company, we have achieved more than most startups at this age, growing at rapid-fire pace. Our founders were right: there is a tremendous need for same-day TV attribution for all advertisers ? regardless of size or geography.

With TVSquared?s ADvantage platform, we are bringing analytical insights and optimization opportunities to advertisers that were previously only realized through digital marketing channels. Same-day TV attribution has proven to be a game changer for our clients ? which now include 300+ brands in 43 countries.

And while we could write pages about TVSquared?s 2015 successes, we?ll spare you, and only include a few:

  • Global Expansion: TVSquared experienced tremendous growth and, in turn, grew its global presence by opening offices in New York, Los Angeles and London.
  • iSpot Partnership: TVSquared and iSpot.tv joined forces to change the culture of TV ad planning, optimization and reporting forever. Advertisers can now link the airing of a TV ad to response across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and search engines directly to the sales activity within hours of an ad airing.
  • Customer Successes: There is nothing we love more than hearing about how our customers use TVSquared to benefit their businesses. This year, we learned that GoodRx doubled its TV-marketing spend due to the insights it gleaned with ADvantage; FanDuel chose TVSquared as its official attribution partner to support its multi-million-dollar TV ad strategy; and our customer, Lifes2Good, was profiled by Response Magazine for its innovative, successful DRTV strategy.
  • Industry Recognition: In addition to great mentions from the industry press, TVSquared was named as the 2015 Northern Tech Award ?Rising Star? and was honored with the TechCities Award for Scotland. Our executives also spoke at conferences all over the world, including ERA?s D2C Convention where Calum?s attribution panel was one of the event?s most popular sessions. So, yes, we?ve had a busy year, and we loved every second of it.
